Today, TikTok has been scrutinized by governments worldwide for its potential to be used as a tool for Chinese government surveillance, data collection, and influence operations. This video analyzes the threats posed by TikTok and assesses its role as a cyber weapon in the 21st century.

This paper argues that al-Shabaab’s resilience is not solely due to its ideological appeal or military capabilities, but also its adept utilization of the internet and its ability to forge strategic alliances with other extremist groups. By examining al-Shabaab’s historical evolution, recruitment techniques, and regional impact, this analysis will highlight the critical need for a comprehensive counterterrorism approach to address the threats posed by al-Shabaab.

Moreover, these campaigns can exacerbate geopolitical tensions, undermine international cooperation, and destabilize fragile regions.
By researching the strategies employed by both the United States and Russia, this research aims to identify vulnerabilities in democratic systems and develop effective countermeasures to protect against future manipulation. Ultimately, this research seeks to contribute to a more informed and resilient global community capable of navigating the complex landscape of information warfare.

Drug trafficking casts a long shadow beyond its immediate societal and economic consequences. This research explores the often overlooked, yet critical, environmental impact of drug production and its contribution to regional instability. By examining the case of Afghanistan, a nation already grappling with significant environmental challenges and exacerbated by the drug trade, this analysis aims to expose a cyclical trap further amplifying instability and insecurity.
Recognizing the limitations of current research in this nascent field, I aim to contribute to the discourse by analyzing the potential linkages between these two transnational issues. This undertaking serves as a starting point, highlighting the need for a more comprehensive exploration of this complex interplay.
Analyzing Russian Anti-Americanism and the Use of State-Controlled Propaganda
This paper examines the evolution of anti-American sentiment in Russia, exploring its roots, foreign policy triggers, and the role of government manipulation. It analyzes how Russia has capitalized on using the media to control narratives to paint the US as an aggressor and deflect criticism for domestic issues. This strategy strengthens national identity. and bolsters the government by promoting narratives of external threats to justify its authoritarian rule. While a long history of tension and disagreements over foreign policy contributes to negative views of the United States, this paper argues that the current Russian government actively cultivates and exploits anti-Americanism for political gain.
